Local first
Strong community is built through repeated local contact, not abstract geographic reach.
Życie, Razem is a local community model designed to strengthen adult participation in Krakow through English-language civic engagement, volunteering, practical shared activity, and stronger neighbourhood ties.
The Foundation works with adults. A separate association is being developed for youth activity in the same local environment so continuity can exist across life stages without collapsing legal or safeguarding boundaries.
Krakow, especially District XI and nearby areas.

Participation in English as a practical shared space.
Youth belonging can later grow into adult local participation.
The Foundation exists to strengthen local community life in Krakow, especially in and around District XI, by organising adults through English-language civic participation, practical community activity, intergenerational knowledge sharing, volunteering, and useful access to public life.
It supports adults in building neighbourhood ties, taking part in local improvement efforts, and developing confidence, readiness, and contribution in the city where they live.
This mission statement is descriptive. It does not create a guarantee of services, admission, or support.
Strong community is built through repeated local contact, not abstract geographic reach.
Adults carry responsibility for neighbourhood life, continuity, and the civic environment around younger generations.
English is used as a tool for participation, confidence, inclusion, and wider opportunity.
The aim is greater capability, confidence, and contribution, not indefinite support structures.
Communities strengthen when experience, practical knowledge, and perspective move across generations.
Trust, documentation, and governability matter more than speed, scale, or promotional visibility.
Public spaces, community venues, libraries, local institutions, and informal shared environments are part of the city already. The Foundation aims to help adults make better use of them.
The Foundation does not directly run youth programmes. Youth-facing work sits under the separate association with its own governance and operational rules.
